Bike the Moose 2022

We are excited to invite you to our annual event Bike the Moose. A friendly all-skills level paced bike ride (this is NOT a race) around the Moose Loop, and we will ride it clockwise direction. If you have never ridden the iconic Moose Loop and 32 miles sounds a little intimidating, this is a great opportunity for a gentle, supported introduction to the route. Or if you bike the Moose all the time, this is your chance to ride it with a fun group.

We will have Wayfinding signs and support to help you know the way around the trails. In addition, your registration fee will include a T-shirt with this year's colorful logo, and if you are already a member, you will get an extra surprise!

Registration

July 1st - July 14th // Early Bird. If you register during this time, you will get a guaranteed t-shirt of the size you choose. You can get it before the event at the Bib pickup or the day of the event at the check-in.

July 15th - July 25th // If you register during this time, we won't be able to guarantee you will get the size shirt you want. You can get the shirt before the event at the Bib pickup or the day of the event at the Check-in.

July 26th - July 30th (On-site registration) // Last-Minute. Online registration closes at 6pm July 29th. On-site registration will not close until the day of the event at 9am. If you register during this time or on-site, we want to let you know that we might be out of shirts by then, if this is the case we will send the shirt to you by mail after the event.

Ride Day

The ride starts and ends at the Westchester Lagoon, departure time is 10:00 AM, we ask you to arrive at least 30 minutes before departure time. We will have a tent with a bike stand and bike mechanic that can assist with any last-minute and minor mechanical complications, we recommend you to check your bike is working and in good condition at least one day before the ride.

We will have several stations hosted by our friends from Anchorage Park Foundation serving up free Wild Scoops ice cream and our REI who will have treats, drinks, and well deserved hill climb kudos at top of Kincaid hill.

You can check the route on the map below and see the stations and amenities along the route.

If you find that the registration fee is a barrier for you to attending the event, please send an email to [email protected]
