Get ready for a fun-filled day on two wheels with our annual fundraiser ride, Bike the Moose! This ride celebrates Anchorage’s iconic Moose Loop trail with multiple options for riders of all levels, from toddlers in trailers to century crushers.

Choose Your Moose

🟢 The Classic Loop (1 Lap / 32 miles)

Start at Westchester Lagoon and ride the scenic 32-mile Moose Loop clockwise. Take your time—this is a party ride! The paved loop is mostly flat, low-traffic-stress, and perfect for all bikeability levels. Enjoy multiple stops with snacks, views, and cheers.

Too much for one day? Form a relay team or rent an e-bike from a local shop near the start! We recommend a 6-hour rental for peace of mind.

🔵 Moose Loop x2 (Metric Century / 64 miles)

Want more moose? Ride the loop twice for a self-paced metric century. Start early and track your ride via Strava or GPS. Complete both laps and show us your ride to earn special finisher swag and join our Century Club!

🔴 Moose Loop x3 (Century Challenge / 96 miles)

Calling all heavy-hitters: complete three full loops for a nearly 100-mile challenge! Same as with two laps: Start early and track your ride via Strava or GPS. Complete both laps and show us your ride to earn special finisher swag and join our Century Club!

Note: Riders doing 2 or 3 laps should plan to start as early as 9:00 AM and be largely self-supported. Treat stations may not be fully stocked before the official 10:00 AM launch.

🟡 The Moose Antler Ride (Kid-Friendly activities)

A perfect adventure for families with small kids! Join us for a short out-and-back ride on multi-use greenbelt trails to a local playground for bike-themed activities, snacks, and fun. Great for trailers, balance bikes, and training wheels!

We'll start at Westchester Lagoon and follow the scenic 32-mile Moose Loop clockwise, with plenty of opportunities to stop, enjoy treats, and take in the sights. This is a party ride! Take your time and enjoy the scenic route at your own pace.
