The documentary Afghan Cycles is part of this year's Anchorage International Film Festival and we couldn't be more excited.

Join Bike Anchorage, the Trek Store of Anchorage, and film makers from Afghan cycles on a pre-screening fat ride. We will start from the Trek Store and head to Beartooth for an 8pm film screening. Speedway Cycles has invited us to keep our bikes at their store during the show.

Afghan Cycles is a feature documentary about a generation of Afghan women who are pedaling their own revolution, aggressively challenging gender and cultural barriers using the bicycle as a vehicle for freedom, empowerment and social change.

Fat bike rentals are available at the Trek Store. Please call ahead to reserve: (907) 743-6000. Join us at 5:30pm for a 6pm rollout.

Be sure to bring a helmet, bike lights, and a bike lock. Due to icy conditions, we also highly recommend studded tires.
