Let's Ride!

Bike to Work Day is our annual celebration of cycling in Anchorage and this year it's taking place on Friday, May 17 from 7-9 AM and 4-6 PM. You can participate individually or with a group. We encourage you to get together with co-workers, family members, household members, friends, and anyone you want to ride your bicycles around town and enjoy the event with.

Bike Counting

Bike to Work Day demonstrates just how many folks in our community love cycling - and we collect the data to prove it. Volunteers help us count riders along our trails and bicycle paths so that we can report on the growth of our cycling community and success of the event. If you would like to volunteer as a bike counter, you can register below. We will guide you through the how-to and have a little thank you present for your help.

Treat Stations

Plan your route for maximum treats and fun! Check out our map to see where all the treat stations will be located. The map will be updated regularly as hosts join the event.

Bike Month Commuter Challenge Drawing

For the Bike Month of May, we are giving away Two Tickets on the Alaska Rail Road Grandview Package in a drawing at the end of the month! 

We have several ways to get entries and boost your chances to win:

• Sign up for the Love my Ride app and join our Bike Anchorage Group for - one entry
• Log your Commutes between May1-31st. each day with a commute gets - one entry
• Find us at our many Bike Month Events. At each event you can sign up for - one entry 
• Volunteer as a Bike Counter on Bike to Work Day and get - fifteen entries! 

We will draw the Prize June 1st. You don't need to be present to win.
