Bike Movie - "Faster Than Crude Oil" and QnA with Lael Wilcox

Local endurance athlete and bikepacking legend Lael Wilcox joins us for the screening of several short films about her recent endeavors in Alaska and beyond.

In 2021, Lael set the Fastest Known Time (FKT) on the Trans Alaska Pipeline route, an 858 mile ride from Prudhoe Bay to Valdez. In less time than it would take for crude oil to travel the same route during peak production in 1988, Lael rolled into Valdez after just 3 days and 18 hours.

Join us after the films for a Q&A with Lael and Heather of Heather’s Choice, a local backcountry meal purveyor, who will share their expertise on eating for endurance activities. This selection of videos will inspire you to get on your bike and ride no matter what the distance.

Free admission, first come first served, two tickets max per person.
TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT AT THE BOX-OFFICE STARTING MARCH 8TH.
