Join Habitat for Humanity Anchorage, Bike Anchorage, Lael Wilcox, and members of Anchorage GRIT to celebrate National Bike Month and Habitat for Humanity’s important work partnering with Anchorage families in need of safe, decent, and affordable housing! We’ll meet at Begich Middle School, and then ride through Muldoon and Mountain View where we’ll see some of the more than 90 houses Habitat for Humanity has built since 1993, the newest Habitat house in Anchorage, and the site of Habitat’s Dave Wallace Commons project breaking ground in July. We’ll continue on the Ship Creek , Coastal, and Chester Creek trails, back to Begich.
Bring a bike, helmet, water, and a snack.
20 miles round trip, kid-friendly (10+), and free! Meet at 9am for a 9:15 rollout.
