BIKE TOUR: Public Art

Tour Topic: Strap on a helmet and set off on a tour of public art pieces led by Anchorage’s Curator of Public Art, Gideon Gerlt. Participants will pedal to a series of public artworks and hear the stories, histories and community reaction to the selected pieces, which represent just a fraction of Anchorage’s public art portfolio.
Free. Tour begins at the Anchorage Museum and covers four to eight miles; may not be suitable for all riders. Meet at 5 p.m., ride begins at 5:30 p.m. (rain or shine). Bikes not provided. In partnership with Bike Anchorage.
