Winter Bike Fest is a month-long celebration of Anchorage’s winter biking culture and the people who make it happen. It’s part festival, part fundraiser, and part love letter to our winter city, featuring film, art, storytelling, group rides, and a community of folks who love to bike year-round.

Our theme this year is Light Up the Night: Think glowing bike lights, twinkling trails, bright winter gear, and the shared magic of riding together through the dark winter months. (Plus, there's an opportunity to score free bike lights on Winter Bike to Work Day!) Every event supports our nonprofit work to make our city more bike-friendly. This is your invitation to join us and light up the night!

Movie Night: Filmed By Bike Festival

• We'll kick off Winter Bike Fest with a screening of the "Joyride" series from the Filmed By Bike Festival! Tickets on sale here.

First Friday Bike Art Show

• Date: February 6
• Time: 6:00-9:00 P.M.
• Location: Trek Store of Anchorage
• The Trek Store of Anchorage hosts its annual bike-themed art show, with an opportunity to buy merch to support Anchorage GRIT!

Trail Tales

• Date: February 10
• Time: 7:00-9:00 P.M.
• Location: Anchorage Museum
• Join Alaska Trails for an evening of storytelling at the Anchorage Museum. Tickets on sale here.

Winter Bike to Work Day

• Date: February 13
• Time: 7:00-9:00 A.M.
• Locations: Treat stations along the Chester Creek trail between Goose Lake and Westchester Lagoon
• Enjoy treats, food, drinks, and swag for intrepid winter bike commuters. Sign up to host a treat station here.

Big Fat Ride

• Date: February 28
• Time: 3-6pm
• Location: Downtown Anchorage
• Part of Fur Rendezvous - join the full day of festivities! Register for the Big Fat Ride here.

Big Fat Ride After-Party & Raffle Drawing

• Date: February 28
• Time: 4-6pm
• Location: 49th State Brewing Co.
• Back by popular demand! Warm up with pizza and prizes after you complete the Big Fat Ride.

Winter Bike Fest Raffle
